The Face Reality Acne Program is a clear skin solutions system that can have your acne under control in 3-4 months without the use of prescription medications. The Face Reality system is a combination of premium products and a comprehensive treatment protocol designed to treat even the most challenging acne clients. As your Face Reality Certified Acne Specialists, we are here to create a custom plan and support you throughout the process of clearing your skin.
WHAT IS ACNE?
Acne is an inherited disorder of the pores. The acne pore sheds dead skin cells at an accelerated rate and the body just cannot keep up. This forms the microcomedone, the beginning of all acne. Taking up to 90 days, it turns into blackheads or congestion under the skin; or if the bacteria is present (which just loves to feed on the dead skin and oil), it turns into inflamed pimples or pustules and maybe even cysts.
HOW LONG UNTIL
MY SKIN IS CLEAR?
Because it takes up to 90 days for acne to form, you may still have 90 days of acne that will surface. Our acne products and protocol will help keep the new acne from forming and that would surface 90 days from now. The Face Reality Acne System can have your acne under control in about 3 to 6 months (in most cases) depending on your type of acne. Some types of acne take longer to clear. Your Acne Specialist will customize a home care regime by considering the following – your type of acne, your skin type, your skin color, your skin sensitivity, and your environment. The biggest part of getting your skin clear will be your commitment to doing your home care regimen as instructed and following lifestyle guidelines.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
Follow your personalized home-care regimen twice daily.
See your Skincare Specialist every 2-3 weeks for treatments/and or assessment.
Homecare Adjustments – consistent adjustments will be made to boost your home care regimen.
Lifestyle Adjustments-foods, medications, cosmetics, stress, and pore-clogging ingredients in skin and hair products. You will want to eliminate anything that may be contributing to your acne.
As your Face Reality Certified Acne Specialists, we will monitor your progress closely and make sure you have the best treatment protocol for your skin. Adjustments to your treatments and home care will be made, if necessary. We are committed to getting your skin healthy and clear, and will be available to guide, educate and answer questions throughout the process.
WHAT ARE HOMECARE ADJUSTMENTS?
We assess your skin every two weeks to see if we can make your regimen a bit stronger. We do not want your skin to get used to products, but also not make the regimen so strong that your skin gets dry and irritated. This method will keep your skin clearing up. It's important to know that if adjustments are not made, your progress may stall. If for some reason, you cannot make it in for a treatment, you must contact us to get your next set of instructions for home care adjustments.
TREATMENTS
The first step is to schedule and complete a phone consultation. During the call your Esthetician will review the program and go over all the specifics to make sure the Face Reality Program is the right fit for you. Your 1st appointment will be scheduled.
At your first appointment we will do a thorough skin assessment, determine your type of acne, take photos for documentation and prep the skin for a patch test to determine what products will be best for your skin. Depending on the severity of your acne we may or may not do a full treatment.
During your appointment we will line up your home-care regimen and provide specific instructions on how to care for your acne at home.
The initial investment in home-care is around $200. This will get you what you need to start the program. The Face Reality home-care regime is a requirement of the program. No exceptions.
Your second treatment should take place 2-3 weeks after your 1st appointment. During your 2nd appointment your progress will be documented. Your skin will be cleansed, steamed and treated with the appropriate masks and serums. We will do extractions, followed by High Frequency OR Blue Light Therapy. A light peel will be performed, and your skin will be treated with finishing products. The Face Reality Acne Treatments are $75 when treated bi-weekly or $95 if treated monthly. Treatments are typically 45-60 minutes depending on what your skin needs.

FACE REALITY TREATMENT

Your skin will be assed, progress will be documented, homecare will be reviewed, and changes may be made. The skin will be cleansed with steam, treated with the appropriate serums, masks, etc., ultrasonic & manual extractions with high frequency or blue light therapy to kill p. acne causing bacteria and reduce inflammation. The skin will be treated with the appropriate Chemical Peel or Enzyme Treatment.
INITIAL PRODUCT INVESTMENT
The initial product investment to start the program will be around $200. Homecare is a requirement of the program. No exceptions.
